Stanley Cup Playoff Hockey in Anaheim, CA. This is my second year shooting the NHL playoffs. My first time was in Denver, CO with the Colorado Avalanche and now with the Anaheim Ducks. The lighting at the Honda Center is very poor, my exposures are at: 1/640 @ F/2.8 with an ISO of 2500. This is a full 2 stops darker than the Pepsi Center in Denver and 1 1/3 stops darker than the Staples Center in LA. Also at the Honda Center they have less photo holes along the glass/Ice level. I didn’t realize how good I had it. With all of this I was able to negotiate shooting down low and still got some cool shots.
