TapiaPhoto is Photography by Ric Tapia. Ric received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. Brooks Institute of Photography is one of the most prestigious photography schools in the world. While attending Brooks, Ric completed two internships. The first was with Icon Sports Media, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. Ric was assigned to photograph MLB, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, Professional Golf and other sports. The second internship was with Michael Martin Photography in Denver, CO. Michael Martin is team photographer for the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche and NLL’s Colorado Mammoth and a corporate and commercial photographer. Ric assisted and photographed regular season and playoff NHL games. Ric has also worked as Event Staff Photographer for the ESPN Marketing Department covering the Summer and Winter X Games.
