Giyoh Ngafi Shey Kicks upward at Cal State LA’s Soccer Field during a photo shoot on August 24th. You may remember me photographing Giyoh from an earlier blog post. While talking to Giyoh during the basketball shoot he told me he played competitive soccer until College. He still plays for fun and here are some of the photos from our shoot.

Giyoh Ngafi Shey jumps at the Cal State Los Angeles’ outdoor basketball courts during a portrait session. Giyoh Ngafi Shey played his Freshman and Sophmore seasons at Cal State LA as a Shooting Gaurd and Small Forward. He averaged 12points per games with 7 rebounds per game. Shey did not play his Junior year due to a broken foot. Shey, now in his Senior year hopes to play again for Cal State LA for his final year before he graduates with a degree in Criminal Justice.
